Since 1965, the Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas (HFMD) – the only resource of its kind in the region – has been providing quality programs and services to our bleeding disorders community. These programs include our amazing summer Camp Not-A-Clot for kids, patient financial assistance for those experiencing a financial hardship, post-secondary scholarships, Get Connected Weekend, ongoing education opportunities and a free medical ID to anyone being treated at one of our partner Hemophilia Treatment Centers: M Health Fairview, Mayo Clinic, Children’s MN, Sanford in Sioux Falls, SD.
In the two-state area of Minnesota and South Dakota there are approximately 880 individuals effected with hemophilia or related bleeding disorders. HFMD is a resource that can help people connect, provide support, and help people advocate for themselves.
HFMD currently has two staff, and eleven Board members who volunteer their time and expertise to HFMD.
We are looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming event or program. HFMD is a proud member organization of the National Bleeding Disorder Foundation (NBDF) and the Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA).
