- Must be a person with an inherited bleeding disorder.
- Must be a resident of Minnesota or South Dakota, and/or a patient of one of HFMD’s affiliated Hemophilia Treatment Centers in these states.
- Must use the HFMD Scholarship to pursue a course of post-secondary education.
Completed scholarship application, letters of recommendation, and transcripts must be received by HFMD no later than June l, 2023 to be considered for the following academic year. It is the applicant’s responsibility to assure all forms are received at HFMD by June 1, 2023.
YMCA Camp Not a-Clot registration is now open for the six day summer traditional camp experience! Through a combination of programming, fun activities, and charismatic staff, Camp Ihduhapi strives to foster character development, skills building, and promote transition to independence while in a medically safe environment.
Any child, age 8-17, who has hemophilia or another chronic bleeding disorder can attend.

South Dakota HFMD families will gather in the private suites to cheer on the Sioux Falls Canaries at a fun baseball game with ballpark food and beverages while having the opportunity to hear from featured speakers and get helpful educational information.

Join the HFMD for dinner and a HELLO Talk series presentation, sponsored by Takeda. This educational program is for patients and caregivers where they can benefit from valuable tips and skills relevant to living with a bleeding disorder and learn in a relaxed and friendly environment. Registration for this event is Closed.
The Blood Brotherhood group is a safe place for male and non-binary community members to share their experiences, learn from one another, and find support through peer networks. These sessions are guided to encourage organic conversation and are typically 90min. Participants must be 18 or older and either have a bleeding disorder diagnosis or be seeking a diagnosis.
